KU MAI - the connector, the protector, the mover, the manifestor, the one that follows through and gets it done. Ku is the energetics of the body that creates a reality out of the dream.

KU MAI, is our ho'okupu to the lāhui. For generations we have protested and fought the war, our past has been demonized and the generational trauma continues. Ua pau! Enough. It’s time to clarify, to offer a solution.  It is time to accept what has occurred and it is time to choose with a mind as sharp as the tip of a spear, where and how we will lead our culture, our generation, our humanity, into the future. It is designed to increase our literacy of the elemental shift of season.  Featuring a four part community experience where the practice of chant will be resourced to construct a functional and relevant relationship to the elements of Ku. It is time we reframe the fear factor of Ku with function and approachability!

INCLUDES:

  • Four LIVE 2hr recorded sessions of instruction and experience with Kaleinohea and Lanakila for the entirety of this new season (now through Oct 2023).

  • Two chants for your practice, pleasure and protocol, to welcome in KU.

  • An immersion into all things Ku for the full bodied empowerment of a people to realize our most prolific Ku season yet.

Culture dies without its people, without language, without chant and ceremony. Your participation in this ceremony ensures an evolution of our culture in a direction that is relevant to this generation, (the current leaders of lineage). Your presence is your contribution, together we will proliferate legacy that is Ku, seven generations can relate and resource our Ku culture.
